This course is for you if…
You don't understand where to start
You have ideas, inspiration, but no algorithm and understanding of what is step #1, #2, #3

If you want to become a professional
You have ambitions, but your skills are not good enough yet

If you can only copy, but not draw yourself
To sketch your ideas, you spend a lot of time looking for the most similar references as possible

If you feel limited
You can draw only the simplest and most boring ideas, but you can't draw what inspires you

If you're insecure to show your drawings to your family and friends
The drawings don't look good enough to be taken seriously

If your skills are slow to develop
You feel like you're slowing down and you're struggling to make progress
If you feel you have no talent
You do your best but you still don't succeed

If you draw slowly
When you draw, you are doing a work task rather than enjoying the freedom of creativity

If you need special conditions for drawing
You can't draw on inspiration anytime and anywhere: in a coffee shop, on an aeroplane, on the beach

If you are just a newbie
For example: last time you drew was 30 years ago in kindergarten

If you want to draw Fashion
You watch other people draw, look at my drawings and say to yourself "I want to do the same"

How the training works
At the heart of any illustration is always a pencil sketch

No matter what medium we choose: markers, watercolours, ipad or something else, the quality and professionalism of the final work on 70% depends on the skill to draw with pencil

We might say that drawing is what pencil drawing is all about. And everything else is colouring
First we'll learn pencil drawing
Students' works. Pencil
Watercolor is my favorite tool. And watercolor is also very easy, versatile, compact and accessible

On the example of watercolor we will learn to work with color. We will make bright and lively sketches

I will try my best to make you fall in love with watercolor

P.S. After learning to work with watercolor, you can draw with markers, pencils and digitally
Then we'll learn watercolor
Students' works. Watercolor
Here's what some recent students have to say
  • "Dear Teacher Maria,
35 days are over! I never thought I could develop my drawings and make them so perfect in such a short period of time. I remember before I started the online course
my drawings weren't very good and I wasn't always satisfied. Since I started the online course, things changed and I started to notice a difference. I was constantly following your steps and enjoyed the lessons. They were very simple, clear, full of detail, well planned and easy to follow, which made me enjoy drawing. Yes! You made me fall in love with my drawings. It is my turn to thank you for all your efforts, help, support, advice and kindness. You accompanied me every step of the way on this journey, which I really appreciate and it shows what a good person you are. 😘❤️ "

Attention! I've changed the format of the training
How the course is working now
  • Sign up. Start on April 1
If you are a beginner you learn the lessons step by step, mastering the basic rules
If you already know how to draw, watch the lessons you are interested in, closing gaps in your skills
  • How individualised work goes

    1. You draw a fashion sketch. Draw it as you can
    2. Send it to me. I analyze it and show you 1-3 key mistakes
    3. You improve this mistake
    4. Repeat the whole cycle again

In 3 months of this personalised training you will improve 30-60 of your weakest points

It will make your sketches look really stunning!
Why it doesn't matter
how you draw now
I have spent over 5 years improving the course, making it as simple, clear and visual as possible

Now 100% of my engaged students (who do assignments) are moving to the next level of drawing

What you will learn in this course
Drawing fashion almost like me :)
  • You will learn how to draw:
    • Standing and walking figures
    • Front view and back view
    • Static and dynamic poses
  • I'll show you a simple algorithm that I use myself
  • The algorithm can be adjusted to any style of drawing:
You'll be able to draw in realistic, fashion, anime, pin-up, mariartrjournal style (that's me 😆 ) - whatever you like
  • You will be able to change the weight of the models you draw
  • You'll be able to draw a real plus-size
  • You will be able to sketch figures in different poses
  • As a bonus, I will give recommendations on how to rotate the figure slightly (10-15 degrees)

We will not fully consider the topic “how to rotate the figure”

After all, the course was created primarily for designers, not artists.... And for designers “rotation of figures” is unnecessary information
  • As another bonus, I'll show you how to make live compositions from multiple models
  • Master the drawing of women's hands
  • You will also learn a very simple algorithm with which you would draw hundreds of different hairstyles. From Hollywood hairstyles of the 60's to modern hairstyles.
  • You will learn the logic of drawing clothes
    You'll Understand:
    • How to draw in 3D
    • How to draw different silhouettes,
    • How to draw pleats

Step by step we will make the clothes more complex. Learning how to draw more complicated styles by adding pleats
  • You'll understand how to detail clothing. How to add draperies, collars, pockets, lapels, buttons and other fine elements
  • You’ll learn how to draw prints so they look natural
  • Learn to communicate the material of a garment
    • various types of fabrics (soft and stiff, thin and thick)
    • different types of textures (e.g. fur, knit, silk, etc.)
  • Learn to draw layered outfits
  • Understand how to draw sophisticated couture garments
  • I will explain to you the logic of working with color that I use in my sketches

    You will learn
    • How to easily draw any, even the most complex textures
    • What tools exist and why they are very important
    • Understand why you didn't succeed before
  • You will learn how to control color. You'll understand how to mix colors:
    • For skin,
    • For dresses,
    • For hair,
    • For jeans,
    • For anything

You'll Learn how to control color and feel confident about it
  • You will learn all the key skills and techniques needed to confidently communicate your ideas
  • At the end of the course, I will share my thoughts on "how to use fashion sketching in my work"

    • How to become a designer
    • How to become an illustrator
    • What clients are willing to pay for
    • How to find orders
    • etc.

This will help you understand the industry better and succeed faster
The training will result in an in-depth understanding of the rules of fashion sketching
You will be able to draw your own ideas and designs
You'll even be able to record your own lessons 😆
  • I think that's enough words
Of course, I could go on for a long time about the benefits of this training

    But! Places are limited
If you have read all the way to here and you still don't dream of taking the training - Then this offer is not for you! Good bye ❤️
How much does training cost
  • I think you'll be interested to know what my fashion sketching skill cost me:

    • About $15,000 spent on tools, materials, courses and workshops, 75% of which turned out to be garbage (the saddest part is that at that time I was sure the problem was my "clumsy hands" and not the courses or tools)
    • 3 years spent practicing finding my way, preparing for serious study. All that time I was moving at random, trying to learn without understanding how, how and what to learn
    • 7 months of depression. I burned out many times, I gave up drawing and put it off for later. Because it was very hard to learn without a clear training program, on fragmentary workshops

I have a much nicer and more affordable offer for you
